K-Electric Industrial Feeders Consume Record 6.08 Billion Units in FY26
K-Electric's industrial feeders consumed a record 6.08 billion units of electricity in FY26, surpassing the previous high of 5.84 billion units set in FY22 and marking a 20 percent year-on-year surge. The milestone was driven largely by the B3 category of cement, steel, and textile producers, with KE also adding 349 new industrial connections and 168 MW of fresh demand to its Karachi grid.
